Here's the low-down on the Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 car seat, one of the hottest baby car seats on the market, according to Amazon's bestseller list.
There are a number of Graco baby car seat video reviews on YouTube; we've included a few of them here for you to go over.
Look for our in-depth Amazon review later this week! Get the RSS or email updates on the right to stay updated the minute we publish. Amazon.com said it was "Versatile, convertible design lasts through early childhood", and that the baby seat is "built for comfort and superior safety".
Another popular retail site, Target.com, stated: "Steel reinforced frame provides strength and durability. Three-position recline to get the correct installation and comfort. Wider, padded armrests are extra comfy. Headrest can be easily adjusted in one hand so it changes with child's growth." All in all, it seems that your child will be mighty comfortable in the Graco Nautilus and you can always go over to Target or Wal-Mart and try one out before you buy. (Hint: Try Amazon for even better savings. Look for a used Graco).
Jesse, a thankful mother, had this glowing review on Target.com: "my husband were hit from behind about week ago at about 55 miles per hour. When we took them to the ER, the doc told me the reason that my son was the least hurt was because I had gotten a really good car seat. Spending the cash really paid off."

Frequently Asked Questions...
Can I move my daughter up to the next car seat stage?
My daughter is 7 months and 21 pounds. I know that soon she will be too big for the car seat she has now. She is definately the size of a 18 month old. I was looking at this one: http://www.target.com/Graco-Nautilus-3-Car-Seat/dp/B001OB6J9K/ref=br_1_2?ie=UTF8&node=3579961&searchSize=30&searchView=grid3&searchPage=1&sr=1-2&qid=1283184146&rh=&searchBinNameList=target_com_brand-bin%2Ctarget_com_primary_color-bin%2Cprice&searchRank=pmrank&frombrowse=1
I remember hearing that the baby should be a year old before facing forward in a car seat. Like I said she's already the size of an 18 month old and she's as tall as my 2 year old niece. Is she ready for the next car seat? Should I face her forward?
No 21 pounds at 7 months is NOT unhealthy, particularly since she's a tall baby. She's actually a bit underweight for her height.
Answer:
No, its not unhealthy at all you're right. All my kids were 20 lbs waaaay before they were 1 yr...all breastfed and skinny and healthy now (all grown up)
However, you can't seat her forward until after a year because developmentally her neck and spinal column will be more developed to handle a crash better by that point.
Some face their kids now rear facing until 3 or 4. I'd find that uncomfortable personally - riding backwards makes me feel car sick. I understand it, but would also consider how it made them feel.
And consider this - my kids didn't even ride in car seats!! They're all fine...just interesting how things change over the years.
Leave her backwards until she's a year and get a car seat that can handle her weight and still face rear facing.
