We bought Sunshine Kids Radian 80. We love it. And our son loves it, too. The only problem for you - it's even more expensive than Britax 
The cheapest I found (and actually bought) was $253 delivered from ebay. It is rated up to 80 pounds however, while Britax only up to 60 I believe. So you'll have a couple of years more to enjoy the safety of 5 point harness.
I did research on those seats when we were going to buy, and I'm pretty much sure you won't find any other seat that offers 5 point harness for this weight range.
