Modern car mirrors for a safer drive
After you acquire a car you go in for some after market products. Some of these are Body kits, Air intakes, Tail lights, Fog lights, car spoilers etc. Car mirror is also one of these and it is one of the simplest. As compared to other accessories of a car, making a car mirror involves much less engineering. However modern technology has improved the simple car mirrors too.
When you drive there is traffic in front, there is traffic behind you as also on your right and left sides. If you have to safely proceed further on the road you have to be aware of all the traffic. Car mirrors help you in seeing all such traffic.
First there is the direct rear-view mirror. It makes you see the vehicle that is following you. Through it you know if it is going to overtake you or is content to follow you. You could adjust your driving according to what you see.
Nowadays there are automatic dimming rear view mirrors. A car which comes towards you from front without dimming its headlights can be quite annoying. Due to the glare it reduces your vision clarity. A similar situation occurs if the headlights of the car that follows are bright and you get the glare through the rear-view mirror. A dimming rear view mirror senses the brightness and does what is required to reduce the glare.
There are also wide angle rear-view mirrors that are available. They cover a wider area. There are special mirrors for towing vehicles. They have also to look for traffic in a larger area. When trucks are bigger or large SUVs are driven in reverse there is danger that they may hit an object or other vehicle. There are mirrors which are useful in coping with such situations. Through them you can also see the hazards which are not visible in ordinary mirrors.
Some side mirrors also do the function of turn signals. They have a light on their outer side. These indicate to the vehicle following you whether you will be turning left or right.
Mirrors are available in several shapes and sizes. If you are planning to add custom body kits you can match your car mirrors with them. You can choose as per your taste and customize your car. You can know more about car mirrors at www.ilovebodykits.com.

Frequently Asked Questions...
how to wax a car?
Several questions if you don't mind answering them all, please!
How much liquid wax is needed to wax a large car or small SUV? I used about 1/4 bottle... is that too much, little, just right?
How much rubbing is needed when applying and removing wax? Are you actually rubbing it in or just covering the surface?
How long must you let the wax dry? I understand it must reach a haze but can it stay on longer for better results?
How often must you wax to get that deep mirror finish you see on dark colors?
TIA so much!!!

If you have a really nice paint job, I suggest Maguires Gold Paste. I got this answer from here. I had small swirl marks on my Burgundy Buick. After one coat the swirls were gone and it was like showroom quality finish. Leaving it on longer does nothing for it. Let dry to a haze and then wipe off. Some waxes will cause damage if left on and allowed to dry in the sun for hours. They suggest 2 times a year. Stay away from Car washes, those long strips that wash the car as you go through..they have have to be rinsed quite often, because all the dirt they collect throughout the day stays on there. Wash the car yourself if you can. You don't need elbow grease to rub the wax in. slow circular motion and always over-lap the area you just waxed. Make sure you use a Polishing cloth to wipe wax off, not an old towel. Clean cloth diapers are awesome.
