Peg Perego Stroller Review - What You Should Know Before You Buy

The Peg Perego company has held a reputation for quality since it was founded in 1949 by an Italian man named Giuseppe Perego.  This man was quite innovative and used materials that no other company had used before which revolutionized the industry at the time.  The company soon gained a reputation for building durable long lasting products that functioned better than anything else on the market. When my son was born, I selected a Peg Perego stroller for the above reasons.

Unlike some other strollers, Peg Perego products glide easily and are ergonomically designed to prevent wrist strain and back strain on baby.  Most strollers feature accessories like cup holders and large under carriage baskets for storage.  Also, their strollers feature easy one handed fold up which is great for when you're trying to get your groceries and the stroller into the trunk.  These days, the company produces many other baby products for babies and toddlers, including high chairs, car seats, and other toys.

The company designs various strollers to appeal to each person's need for functionality.  If you have multiples, Peg Perego manufacturers double and triple strollers to help you transport them.  If you live in an area where the roads are unpaved, the company has a product for you as well.  If you would rather spend your hard earned money on a product that will last you the long term and take you from newborn to toddler, the manufacturer has plenty of options to choose from.

The Peg Perego Uno stroller is the product I had decided to purchase while I was pregnant. It's perfect for newborns because it's got a reversible handle so that you can have your baby facing you. As a new mother, I would have hated not being able to see my baby while out on a walk with him. When your baby is able to sit up, the chair can adjust to a full seated position and the handle can convert your carriage into a forward facing stroller.

The only thing that I didn't like about the Uno stroller was that, although it folded up nicely, it was quite bulky in the trunk of the car. So, if you keep a lot of stuff in your trunk, you'll probably want to clean it out so that you'll have room for both stroller and groceries or whatever else. You can also get a matching car seat that snaps right into this stroller for easy baby transport.

Frequently Asked Questions...

Anyone have the Peg Perego Uno Stroller and/or Car Seat?

I am thinking about getting the 2009 peg perego uno stroller. Its looks really nice, and I love that the handle reverses. I tried to find this stroller in a store so I can see it in person, but I cant seem to find a store that has them on display. Does anyone have this stroller? Would you recommend it? I am also thinking about getting the matching car seat that attaches to it. What are the pros and cons of this stroller/car seat?

Answer:

Yes I have this stroller & car seat in mocka.

I love it! The PrimoViaggio car seat is a bit heavy, but compared to others i felt it was more sturdy=safe...

I have used the stroller as a carriage (which sold me on it) b/c I could see my infant. I walk alot and while it isn't as easy to push in carriage mode it pushes just fine and I can see the baby. I get tons of compliments on it, and people think its really heavy and it isn't. I'm a small person and I can lift it in and out of my trunk fine. Baby seems to love it too.

I have used it with the car seat and that works great too.

I bought mine on albeebaby.com for cheaper than amazon etc. I love it, and would reccomend it any day.
